The 11th International Symposium on Young Goethe Research offers young scholars the opportunity to present their own research results to an international audience of experts. The forum aims at offering diverse perspectives on Goethe, his work, and his epoch in a methodologically advanced manner while also conveying these perspectives in a comprehensible language. The history of the symposium—which by now can be spoken of—proves that in the research of younger scholars, Goethe is present and alive.

The symposium will be jointly organized by the Goethe-Gesellschaft in Weimar e.V. and the ZfL.
