The correspondence between Gretha and Ernst Jünger from 1922 to 1960 goes far beyond a correspondence between spouses and provides insights into the private and everyday life of a couple between bohemia, family and war. The reading and conversation have three focal points: 1. letters in which both report on writer friends who formerly belonged to the circle around Bertolt Brecht; 2. letters about Ernst Jünger's time as an occupation officer in Paris; and 3. Gretha Jünger's letters about the air war in Hanover and the surrounding area, which the family survived only by chance.
