In 1926, Benjamin’s journalistic activity really took off, producing more than 30 texts in different genres, for different newspapers and magazines. The diverse corpus of texts produced that year will serve as the basis for our workshop, which lays the foundations for our larger collaborative research project on Benjamin’s journalistic networks. Conceived as an open discussion forum, participants will give exploratory presentations both on general aspects of this corpus and on individual texts discussed in relation to their wider context.

Jürgen Brokoff, Sophia Buck, Dirk Van Hulle, Heinrich Kaulen, Ben Morgan, Madleen Podewski, Enrico Rosso, Andreas Schmid, Detlev Schöttker, Erdmut Wizisla and others.
