Kathrin Witter is working on her dissertation on critical theory and the GDR. In her master’s thesis, she focused on Benjamin’s and Adorno’s micrologies. In addition to early critical theory, she is interested in the period of German Idealism, Classical Modernity and German-language literature of the post-war period. She occasionally enjoys writing as a journalist. The anthology Ultima philosophia. Zur Transformation von Metaphysik nach Adorno (Ultima philosophia. On the Transformation of Metaphysics after Adorno), co-edited by her, was published by Neofelis Verlag.
Falko Schmieder is a cultural theorist and research team leader of the project The 20th Century in Basic Concepts. A Dictionary of Historical Semantics in Germany.
