Access to Online Resources
The ZfL's Open Access Publications
As a signatory of the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities, the Center for Literary and Cultural Research, Berlin supports free access to publicly funded research findings on the internet. The ZfL, in cooperation with the Frankfurt University Library, has begun digitizing research findings on the Frankfurt University Library publications server CompaRe, where information is accessible without financial, technical, or legal barriers. In conjunction with the Wilhelm Fink Verlag and the Kulturverlag Kadmos, and with the authors’ permission, certain articles from conference proceedings as well as edited volumes have been made available to Open Access. The repository is continuously updated.
Full-text searches in various databases (through DFG National Licenses)
The German Research Foundation (DFG) funds national access to large digital collections such as e-text collections, online journal archives, and subject-specific databases. The free electronic resources listed on this page are at the disposal of the ZfL staff. Please note that many databases only make a part of their content available due to national licensing conditions. A list of available titles and details concerning the time span covered by the collections can be found under the various “More Information” links.
