“Walter Benjamin, la créature, le sacré et les images” by Sigrid Weigel nominated for the Prix Walter Benjamin

The Prix Walter Benjamin rewards recent philosophical, literary, or artistic works or an outstanding translation that further the understanding of the work, thought, and life of Walter Benjamin. It will be granted, along with the special prize of the jury, in Banyuls, on September 26th, the anniversary of the philosopher’s death. The award ceremony will take place on November 12th and 13th in Céret and Carcassonne (Occitanie) with the support of the municipality of Céret, the Musée d’art moderne de Céret, the Association of Friends of the Museum, the Centre Joë Bousquet et son temps in Carcassonne, the Mémorial du Camp de Rivesaltes, and the Collège international de philosophie.
