[How to Write Postdigitally? New Techniques in Contemporary Literature]

Digitalization has inspired a further development of literary writing styles and techniques, while also generating new poetological concepts for their definition. However, some of those new techniques, such as the use of lists and gestures of over-affirmation, can already be encountered in earlier literary programs, for example in pop literature. The contributions to this volume ask for formal continuities, disruptions, and other forms of reference to historical predecessors in the most recent contemporary literature. In order to determine whether a postdigital age can also be contoured aesthetically, they explore innovations and references in most recent literature to literary traditions such as romanticism, the avant-garde, or postmodernism.
