Working Group Indigenous Epistemology*

The working group Indigenous Epistemology* emerged in conjunction with the 2022 summer semester’s annual theme Counterworlds. It researches epistemic, ontological, and cosmological approaches of non-European thinkers as well as their reception in anthropology, literary studies, and philosophy. A special focus lies on the political uses of indigenous worldviews such as in the context of the “Rights of Nature” movement.
